Summary/Abstract: The site Danilovića brdo is located in the village Podnovlje, north from Doboj. The site was discovered in 1959 when the first excavation has started, and continued in 1960 and 1963 under the management of B. Belić, the curator of the Regional Museum in Doboj and Đ. Basler, the curator of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On that occasion 90 artefacts from knapped stone were collected. As the layer which had those finds was destroyed by erosion and the stratigraphic situation from this site was unclear, the material from this site was not published in detail until today. Recently, we had an opportunity to revise the material from Belić’s and Basler’s excavations. The results from the technological analysis, show that on this site the Middle and the Upper Paleolithic settlement horizon can be separated. The site Danilovića brdo was never seriously considered in the literature, but with this can be counted as a multilayer Paleolitihic site on the territory of northern Bosnia.
