Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the spread of the Reformation in the 16th century in West Pomerania, with a special consideration for its influence on the populace. It illustrates the influence of the Reformation on the industrial culture and the development of education in the greater cities of West Pomerania, i.e. Szczecin, Koszalin or Słupsk. The article constitutes for an outline of the issues related to the religious movement in 16th century Pomerania.
