Summary/Abstract: The goal of proposed Work – study ideological and aesthetic folklore and literature of image of folk singer sources of Shevchenko's poetry "Perebendya". To achieve the goal we used Historical and Biographical, comparative (comparison Shevchenko's poetry with literary works of E. Hoffman, A. Mickiewicz), textual and hermeneutic Methods. In the literary-critical reception desk for the first time examines the image of crazy kobzar a Jungian archetype in context folklore and literature sources. This is a scientific novelty of Article. M. Laslo-Kutsyuk research "Perebendya", in contrast to the views of classical Ukrainian literature, which saw an intimate connection with poetry, especially folklore, considering in the context of European Romanticism. Analyzed the poetry of Romanian Scientists believe a bright reflection in St. Petersburg fashion of the time to "turn Hoffmann." The researcher notes that these features are also found in the story "Portrait" from the collection of Gogol "Arabesque", which appeared in 1835. The image kobzar poetry "Perebendya" – an artist, a kind of medium, has the ability emotional impact on the audience, recipients of his sacred function – to be a mediator between God and men. In our opinion, it is important also noted that the image kobzar Perebendya with your own philosophical and artistic load is archetypal. He quite is responsible Jung's archetype of the wise old man, what appears in fairy tales always at a time when the hero is in a hopeless or ambivalent situation, which may get rid of only through thorough considerations alone. Old sage represents, on the one hand, the knowledge – reasoning, wisdom, intelligence, intuition, and the other – moral quality, such as: goodwill, helpness. Conclusions. M. Laslo-Kutsyuk right, considering the character Perebendya on Ukrainian folk soil. But this way operates in folklore as code, archetypal, so it works in writers of romanticism.
