Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the translations of Stanislav Lem - the Polish writer of science fiction – into Czech and Slovak. The author of this article notes the translations from Lem's work into Czech and Slovak as represented by genres. Gradually, he makes a list of all translations of Lem's novels, stories, collections, literary punks and nonfiction. Attention is paid to specific Czech editions and to those Lem´s works which have not been published yet. The author concludes with the quotes from the interview of Metoděj Novotný with Pavel Weigel, the most significant translator of Stanislav Lem's work into Czech, who was also an expert in Lem's writing, about which he wrote an inscribed monograph.
