Summary/Abstract: This study is a screening model research that examines the fundamentals and properties of the Suprematism movement that emerge under the leadership of avantgarde Russian artist Kazimir Malevich who lived between years 1878-1935, and analyses his works. Suprematism is a movement that benefits from the cubism and geometric abstractions and creates simple compositions of the basic geometric shapes in a simple manner. Suprematism starts from intransitivity which excludes idealistic images and elements from nature and it is dominated by nihilism also in suprematism emotions are expressed spiritually. Suprematism provided new opportunities for creative arts and it came to the fore strikingly by using purism as well as all other features between years 1913-1915. Suprematism is overly criticized for its philosophy of arguing that everything is devoid of meaning and value at the same time for its opposing side that defies the authorities as social order, state, family and religion. This movement which was quite effective in the first quarter of 20th century, has been maintained by the Russian leading artists such as El lissitzky, Lyubov Popova, Olga Rozanova and Ivan Puni.
