Decisions of Supervisory Board in Light of Certain Types of Decisions

Summary/Abstract: The objectives of the capital companies’ supervisory boards are limited as to the administration of corporate matters. However, supervisory boards can be influential to the overall functionality of the organization. Their performance depends on the decision-making process chosen. The following article proposes that certain decisions by supervisory boards qualify in the fields of those spoken of in organization and management theories. The analysis based on the literature studies suggests that said theories can lead to a better understanding of the character of decisions by supervisory boards.
