Post-state farm poviats - precariat in the West Pomeranian voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The West Pomeranian voivodeship in the current composition was established in 2002. A large part of this voivodship were poviats that belonged to the liquidated in 1991 stateowned farms and recording mass unemployment. Due to this situation, almost half of the poviats of the West Pomeranian voivodeship were already among the poviats with the highest unemployment rate in Poland. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the solutions applied in Poland to combat so called former state owned farms unemployment in the West Pomeranian voivodeship, and the research period was 2002–2017.
