Summary/Abstract: The article is about the research on the one of most popular language instruments - metaphorical nominations and there stages of the process of metaphorisation. Each metaphorical construction passes through several stages: comparison and image metaphore to dead image metaphore and language nomination. The main metaphorical images are based on the peculiar cultural representations of the nation.
