Summary/Abstract: In the 20th century, Edgar Allan Poe‘ s poem, The Raven, was thestarting point for many film adaptations. In 2012, director James McTeiguegave us one more, based on Hannah Shakespeare & Ben Livingstone‘s script, with John Cusach in the role of Poe. In the latest production, Edgar Allen Poehimself is facing, in his real life, the atrocities that came out of his imagination. Our intention is to show the challenges of the film and the implications at theaesthetic level and at the level of reception.
