O JEDNÉ UČEBNICI PRO CIZINCE ZE 16. STOLETÍ
ON A TEXTBOOK OF CZECH FOR FOREIGNERS (FROM THE 16TH CENTURY)

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the oldest textbooks of Czech for German speaking foreigners: Knížka v českém a Německém jazyku složená, kterak by Čech Německy a Němec Česky čísti, psáti i mluviti učiti se mě and Naučení krátké obojí řeči,česky a německy učiti se čísti i mluviti, Čechům německy a Němcům česky. Zpráva o vlastnosti některých liter, kterak ty v obojí řeči ouplně vysloveny býti mají. Přitom: Cesta z Prahy do Norimberka a do Vídně . According to Z.Tobolka, in contrast with J. Jireček, these books were written by two different authors. – The author of this article is of the opinion, that they both were written by O. Klatovský – who was undoubtedly the author of Knížka. This article does not solve this problem it just points to the similarities of both these texts, analysing Knížka and appreciating its structure.
