Summary/Abstract: It is established in the article the hypothesis that the character of Krali Marko of the Bulgarian song epos tradition is built up on the basis of definite mental adjustments with reference to heroic. He has simultaneously essence of a ruler and characteristics of a submissive servant of God. The models to which the building up of the heroic character goes are models of behavior which bring strengthened personally marks; models for which the activities of the hero are concrete and they have attitude to the God will for the human life. All this distanced the natives of the Bulgarian epic tradition of the epoch of the prehistory thinking. M. Eliade says that it is typical for this epoch the aspiration for destruction of the history but not glorifying it.
