Money and money unit value measurement. Theory and practice

Summary/Abstract: In the paper the concept of money and money unit based on labourism approach has been presented.In this context understanding money as wage receivable and money unit as labour unit enablesto search for the value of money and its proper approximation. The main determinant of money valuein presented approach is wage productivity understood as the product of sales revenues or GDP tothe labour costs. Hence the main goal for economists should be maintaining the steady increase ofwage productivity factor both in micro- and macroeconomics. In microeconomic sense this goal isthe responsibility of the board of the entity, and in macroeconomic sense – the government, especiallyministry of finance. Lack of optimal value and simplicity of the wage productivity factor makes it themost important and informative economic factor.
