Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to help students to study the transition process of metal engraving to Non-Toxic metal engraving techniques and to give guidance to artists who want to work in this area. Traditional metal engraving has for hundreds of years expanded its search for new areas as well as its reproducible nature. As of the first half of the 20th century, "Metal Gravure" has been preferred as a form of narration, with its technical differences in terms of originality, and has continued to develop every day. The fact that it contains a lot of technique is the reason why it is preferred by the artists, and it makes it easy to transfer the generation to the generation. The development of technology has influenced the art of printing as well as that of every other area, and artists have been influenced by this modernization effort both in the techniques they used and in their designs. Since the 1950s, it has begun to be used extensively all over the world. After 1970, new searches are seen in traditional metal engraving techniques. In this context, the emergence of Non-Toxic metal gravure has continued with the 'Harward process' after 1980, and new approaches have now taken its place as artistic works under the name 'Non-Toxic Intaglio'.
