Summary/Abstract: Managing a business is a complex process. Family businesses are dealing with a key human resource management problem. Employees play an important role because human capital in modern times and the era of competition is the most important factor for the proper development and functioning of the family. In the article, the authors presented the issues related to human resources management in small family ventures, as well as based on the research of their own family hotel and catering industry, presented the solutions in the facility, which will increase the activity of employees. It has been prepared with the use of Polish and English methodical literature and various scientific publications and reports.
