Summary/Abstract: The study reveals the research results of junior teenagers’ self-regulation. Self regulation skills among children of 11-12 years old is shown to be developed unevenly, allowing todetermine accentuated profile of self-regulation. Teenagers are characterized by highly developed goalplanning, with relatively low level of modelling the conditions for achieving these goals. At themiddle level the indicators of actions’ programming and results’ evaluation. Gender differencesappear with regard to independence (boys have higher rate), in other skills teenagers of both genderhave similar indicators. Teenagers’ participation in the practical course, aimed at self-regulationdevelopment, helps to increase determined self-regulation and general level of perceived self-regulation.
