Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the small company’s analysis proposals, looking forward to understand the weaknesses of thinking about the size of the companiesas a factor that determines better working conditions. Empirical results are shownin order to configure changes in the production model of the clothes industry.The objective of the research was to understand and explain the configurations of the production model of the textile and clothing industry, its relation with informality and precariousness, as well as the relations between the actors. In the study, we interviewed entrepreneurs and workers on various observation visits. The results show us the conformation of new actors and forms of production organization, where also the conflicts between workers and employers become evident when the traditional forms of work are modified.
