The Essence of the Psychological Contract in Management in Family Businesses

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to identify the essence of the psychological contract management process with special reference to the functioning of family businesses. Relationships were analyzed between family members acting as participants in the organization remaining in direct relation to business. Indication of the relationship between management and specific to family businesses psychological contract may provide useful guidance,helping to develop effective relationships between workers and owners of family businesses and the development of effective relationships between employees of such organizations. Effective management of the psychological contract can affect the efficiency o fmanagement throughout the enterprise.
