In the study conducted to determine the "museum" metaphors of the students, phenomenology (phenomenology) pattern was used in the qualitative research methods and content analysis method was used for the analysis of the data. In the end, it was seen that students developed 55 metaphors about the concept of "museum". Metaphors that students intensively used were as such: "history", "historical artifact", "historic site". The metaphors of the students were grouped under five conceptual categories as a result of the analysis on the reasons.
