Summary/Abstract: The present study aimed to explore the phenomenon of incivility at schools according to the teachers’ opinions concerning seniority, gender, marital status and educational background including 284 teachers employed in Aksaray. Results suggested that incivility is not a widespread phenomenon at schools. Teachers’ opinions related to incivility did not differ according to their gender, marital status and education background while there was a significant difference in seniority. According to the teachers, administrators use incivil acts as a way of supressing them. When teachers are exposed to incivil treatment, they report it to school administration. Incivil acts are mostly executed by male teachers.
