Summary/Abstract: In her essay entitled American Theatre’s Good(s), Zenkő Bogdán introduces her readers into the economical structure of theatre-making in the United States, a system in which both the notion of independence as well as that of marketing perspective have different meanings. This informative text shows us possible versions of overseas theatrical activity, by also comparing them to forms known in our region, in order to reveal that the American system is neither better, nor worse than ours, it is just simply different.
