The use of aggregation assessment methods to measure logistic capabilities of sea ports

Summary/Abstract: The sea ports logistic capabilities are closely relateted to the sea port competitveness status. The assessment of the logistic capabilities can be executed with the use of the multi criteria methodes which are implemented to asess the economics and organisational projects. The paper presets the use of the aggregation assessment method to estimate the level of sea port logistic capabilities. The key Polish sea ports have been under research. As the result of the research process, the classification of the sea ports has been produced from the logistic capabilities perspective. It allowed to identify both streghts and weaknesses of sea port under consideration and its contribution within the whole logistic capabilities of the key Polish sea ports.
