Summary/Abstract: Pend-nâme is the general name for the books of advice in Turkish Literature penned to show people the straight path. Advice books were written under the influence of Iranian Literature on Turkish Literature, and the purpose was to teach a moral system of Sufism thereby. First example of this literature was Feridüddin- i Attar’s advice book, which became a model for subsequent books. In this study, the similarity of the content of Risâle-i Rufekâ of Sıdkî, an author who lived in the last period of the Ottoman Empire, to the advice books has been analyzed. The paper discusses the discourse in Risâle-i Rufekâ of Sıdkî on twelve sufistik advices to reach God.
