Summary/Abstract: The article examines the historical and cultural dimension of outreach parish schools Dnieper Ukraine XVIII – XIX centuries. Suggests a framework for ethnic primary school in Ukraine at that time. Established causal links between social significance and accessibility Ukrainian school. Attention is paid to the problem of combination of Ukrainian folk melodies and liturgicalobihodu in students' church music.
