Summary/Abstract: New technologies have provided people with new, unprecedented opportunities to transmitmessages, perform work, communicate, etc. At the same time, research that has been conducted(including research that has used TA) indicates a relational nature of our contact with them. Hence,we can ask whether, for example, a computer constitutes only a tool for an average user, or maybe,it is something more. Research indicates a tendency to credit computers with a personality structure(functional analysis), which, to a great extent, is similar to the personality of the user. Thus, maybe we should analyse the presence of new media in our reality and treat them not as objectsbut as co-workers – specific companions in our reality.
