Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Honor Scale (Guerra and others, 2013). Participants were 208 university students. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the model consisting of 16 items loaded on four factors (x²= 278.43, df= 96, x²/sd= 2,9, RMSEA= .095, CFI= .91, IFI= .91, SRMR= .088) adjusted well. The internal consistency reliability coefficients were .56 for Family honor subscale, .72 for Social honor subscale, .61 for Masculine honor subscale, .79 for Feminine honor subscale, and .83 for overall scale. Corrected item-total correlations of Honor Scale ranged from .29 to .59. The findings demonstrate that this scale is a valid and reliable instrument.
