Summary/Abstract: In the article issues of the day of the valued orientations of the ukrainian young people, and also general system cultural factors, are examined through the prism of scientific researches; certainly reasons of decline of the Ukrainian culture; investigational basic categories of values; the cultural aspect of modern Ukrainian youth and basic properties of values is analysed; the tipological groups of young people are considered in relation to orientations on certain values.
