Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to clarify the place and role of Marxist methodology in the creative works of MM Bakhtin. Through analysis of the application of this method to study the aesthetic and literary perspective, the paper thesis distancing bahtinskoyi version of Marxism from its official version, presented primarily in debased forms.
