Summary/Abstract: The paper entitled Sex, gender, race, identity. The Igiaba Scego’s Writing between Feminism and the Postcolonial Perspective proposes an analysis of three issues in the works of the Italian writer of Somali origin. It means the issue of corporal violence (rape and infibulation), the issue of the encounter between white and black woman (impossible sisterhood) and the issue of the miscegenation (also in the metaphorical sense as miscegenation of gender, sexes or culture). All of them are related to the topics as sex, gender, race and identity, listed in the title and they are strictly connected with the postcolonial perspective as well as with feminism.
