“Come se fosse Antani”: cult movies in OER format for teaching Italian cultural-linguistic shibboleth

Summary/Abstract: The basic assumption of the paper is that contemporary Italian language contains many expressions coming from cult Italian movies of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. These expressions are common both in spoken and in written Italian and mostly in the media. It is important that intermediate and advanced learners of Italian L2 learn their meaning and how to use them. For this reasons we propose to create an online movie anthology for didactical purposes. The paper presents, as the basis of the work to be developed, expressions taken from Amici Miei, from movies by Verdone and Benigni, from the Fantozzi series and from two movies by Moretti.
