Polish and Italian patient information leaflets – the Gunning Fog Index Readability Formula

Summary/Abstract: Medicines constitute a crucial part in human’s life, and its proper use often depends on the correct understanding of a text that is attached to it. This article analyses the readability of this type of texts, that is, a patient information leaflets (PIL). The analysis contains, respectively, the texts of Polish PIL and the Italian ones. Gunning fog index was used to measure the readability of those texts.
