Summary/Abstract: The article determines peculiarities that formed and development creative personality of Ukrainian conductor Dmytro Kotko through the perspective of creative activity of Naddnipryanskyi Chorus (1920–1930) that was grounded and conducted by him and gained phenomenal recognition of the audiences in Western Ukraine and Europe. Formation of talented conductor D. Kotko and further growth of creative potential determined his original style and evolution trend (increase of professional level, performance of new genres, improvement of expressive means’ system, extension of musical and figurative associations’ range, etc).
