Summary/Abstract: In the article the historical role of Naddnipryanskiy choir conducted by Dmytro Kotko is defined on the basis of new documentary material. The article outlines the influence of the choir on the development of musical culture in Ukraine. The author highlights the output of the conductor in the choral art of Halychyna. The attention is accented on the necessity of maintenance of spiritual inheritance of the Ukrainian people.
