Summary/Abstract: Plaques from Bojná are a clear testimony of the Christianization of Moravian Slovens in the first half of the 9th century. Their origin and purpose, as well as content, are still a mystery. Karol Pieta and Alexander Ruttkay expressed the first assumptions of plaque content, although without theological research. A new view of the contents of these plaques right in conjunction with the theological disciplines is possible, based on the comparison and analysis of plaques each other, as well as on the basis of existing research and the views of different scientific disciplines.
