The resources involved in the organization of a written message are examined through: 1) the text field and the line structure, 2) word’s inventory – special letter forms, 3) the scriptura continua and the signs of delimitation: punctuation and majuscules, and 4) ligatures and abbreviations. The selected graphic levels of analysis will serve as the basis for an attempt to ubicate the manuscript in time and space.
