Summary/Abstract: With this work, we tried to verify whether multipotentiality, as one of the recognized specifics of the development of gifted individuals and a potential obstacle to an adequate choice of profession, is the characteristic of intellectual gifted students coming from BiH. The nomination and identification process of gifted students included a total of 1081 students from ten elementary schools from the Tuzla Canton area. In the survey 307 students from final class were surveyed, which were ranked according to the set criteria on a reference and comparative sample. In both cases, it is a convenient sample, in which 210 participants (N ref = 108, N kom = 102) participated. The SPM - plus Form (Raven, Raven and Court, 1998) as well as the Verbal Test of Creativity - Form A (Jäger, 1967) were used in the identification process. After the nomination and identification was carried out, the participants were questioned by a questionnaire of professional interests and preferences (ProMente, 2004). The obtained results show that the expressed professional interests and tendencies on identified gifted students can be seen as clearly expressed and differentiated and that the multipotentiality of interest is not a characteristic for the sample of identified gifted. One of the positive implications of such results obtained on sample of gifted primary school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina is the ability to apply the existing vocational guidance instruments.
