Summary/Abstract: Streetworking is professionally provided assistance to those who remain outside the system of social assistance. Those practicing the profession reach people who are excluded or at risk of social exclusion (street children, homeless people, beggars, prostitutes, committing criminal offenses). Their place of work is the street, basements, shopping malls, but also the Internet, where modern man spends more and more time frequently searching for answers to difficult questions and waiting for necessary support. In this article, I present the most important assumption of streetworking and opinions of the students of social work, as well as street workers on this form of work and its place in the social assistance system.
