Summary/Abstract: In 30s-40s of XX century a new artist trend of choreography education was widespread in Ukraine that was found by Mary Wigman, a German dancer. The aim of this article is trend development research in Galychyna region. The article deals with the following - aspects of career development of Mary Wigman - its choreography style features - dance studios development of Wigman style in Ukraine - activity of famous Galych dancers who inherited dancing expressionism.
