Demographic structures of Bulgarian population in house according to data from the name register of 1864

Summary/Abstract: The study is presenting the name register of Bulgarian population of the town of Rousse from 1864, stored in the State's Archive - Rousse. The very precise analysis of that document is giving the ability to make some conclusions for the marriage status, burth-rate, the percent of the children's death-rate, the adoption as a social practice. The professional structure and the character of the households, mentioned refugees from and in Rousse are viewed in details. On graphics are presented data about the number of households and of settlers in the hamlers, also the character of those households, the professional structure of the population and its social and age composition.
