Summary/Abstract: The article considers the question of tradition as a cultural heritage or scientific reconstruction. Asking the question whether our understanding of “tradition” covers the concept of a model of transmission of cultural values, the author assumes that the tradition should be understood as a modern interpretation of our own cultural background!
