Summary/Abstract: The article contains a description of the process of creating and implementing basic rights of national minorities in Poland. The author’s intention was to compare the scope of the functioning of rights in the all-Polish and regional – West Pomeranian dimension. The text attempts to answer the question regarding the implementation of these rights.
