Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the analysis of Brandom's approach to epistemology from the perspective of his normative inferentialist philosophical project. The paper presents the basic ideas of Brandom's interpretation of epistemic concepts and the interpretation of the way in which they are applied to the understanding of different types of language practice. Brandom's thesis will be shown in which language practices are the only topos for a true understanding of fundamental epistemological concepts such as knowledge, rationality, etc. The central part of the research is related to Brandom's use of a normative vocabulary for understanding the epistemic aspect of communicative practices.
