Summary/Abstract: Job preparation determines the likelihood of realizing his or her own career path in the labor market by graduates of institutions of higher education. It also determines the quality and effects of their future work. This is particularly important in jobs of public trust, which include the profession of a pedagogue, as a specialist in the broadly understood activity of supporting his or her protégés. Contemporary educator is a humanist, distinguished by inner richness, ability to act with ideological motives, socialization, openness to other people's affairs, creative relationship with socialreality, rationality of thinking and care for a dependent [see Ćwikliński 2013, p. 53; Śliwerski 2010].How well prepared are young Polish and Ukrainian pedagogues studying in different educational systems? This text is an attempt to answer the question.
