Summary/Abstract: Preparing imprisoned people to life at large they is carried out by people working with prisoners. This should be done in cooperation with the family of the convict and the institutionscooperating with prison. In the Polish penitentiary system the staff uses the programs and projects for the rehabilitation of offenders. These activities concentrate on different areas of human activity. These activities include programs to reduce education deficits, the educational culture. Among people with different problems,there are persons deserving special attention. There are projects conducted with perpetrators ofcrimes against the family – their victims. Convicted should understand the negative consequences of their actions and that the committed actions violate social norms. It becomes important to develop desired behaviors and adopt them as existing and arising out of their own beliefs. In achieving these goals play an important role rehabilitative programs and projects implemented in working with inmates. They are particularly important because they concern relationships with loved ones, transformation behavior convicts and their attitudes. It is very important to the wild convicted he could return to his family and did not repeat their behavior.
