Summary/Abstract: Referring to the definition of the sacrum, the author explains how we understand the phenomenon of sanctity in the theater. It turns out that the phenomenon of theater works as the place between creation and representation. The action of the theater is linked with the rite and the liturgy. In the rest of the article, the author analyzes the links between poetic and religious drama.
