Summary/Abstract: Iași Local Council, following Iași City Hall, represented an institution whose organization and functioning had a major impact on the Romanian society as a whole. Through the way its documents have been organized during its existence, by precise laws and rules that were carefully applied, allowed us to access various and important information on cultural, economic and social life of the city and the county.
