Summary/Abstract: In this research, a synopsis of preschool education in Moldova is made. The development of programs and the educational methodic from the 80s years of the last century up until now is traced. The actual programs (curriculum) of early and preschool education of children in Moldova are minutely analyzed, as well as the State standards concerning this. The differences with programs and methodic from the former period are pointed out and their effectiveness is estimated, according to the peculiarities and the abilities of children of respective ages. An analysis of the correlation folk – author’s music in the objectives and the recommended repertoire for perception and performance is made.
