Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the works of an original Belarusian poet-emigrant Vladimir Klishyevich. The main focus in the analysis is on his poetry from a unique collection “Pyesnyari Sluchchini” which was published during German-French occupation in 1943 in Slutsk as well as on the poem “Vasil’ Kalina” (London 1965). The poet’s works are examined from the perspective of the 20th century literary process on three levels: ideological-thematic, artistic and genre-stylistic.
