Summary/Abstract: The article analyzed the specific directions of the analytical interpretation of history, which is clearly represented in the Belarusian prose of K. Tarasov, V. Orlov, V. Kovtun, A. Navarich, A. Fedorenko. The writers desire to go beyond the specific historical period, to reflect the artistic activity in the unity of the past, present and future. Artistic interpretation of history was accompanied by the elaboration of further ways of development of Belarusian prose through the organic combination of the ontological and the concrete historical problems with the dominance of the ontological.
