Summary/Abstract: The history of preparatory process, which took place in 1996–2012, leading to the publication of Maxim Tank’s “Collected Works” in 13 volumes is described. The author of the article pays special attention to materials poet’s son, M. E Skurko, presented to the Belarusian National Archive in 2009. Complexity of the process connected with the loss of some diaries is revealed.
