The missionary dimension of the Christ’s Church

Summary/Abstract: In the article under discussion, which consists of three parts, the author, as a priest, monk and many year’s missionary, wishes to present us the timeless missionary character of the Catholic Church. In the 1st part he outlines the teaching of the 2nd Vatican Council and of John XXIII, Paul VI and John Paul II, concerning one of the most fundamental truths of religious life – that Christ is the Way and the Life of the Church. The 2nd part provides an account of the multiplicity and diversity of missionary paths of the Church while the 3rd one deals with missionary teaching of Christ that can be found in the New Testament.
